Launch DePaul is a new venture competition for businesses, non-profits, and social ventures, and is open to the DePaul community. The competition emphasizes the ability of teams to demonstrate the sustainability of their ventures, illustrated by the achievement of milestones and/or documentation of market potential. 

To participate, a team must have 2+ members, one of whom must be a current DePaul student or 2011 graduate.

A New Launch DePaul

This year, Launch DePaul has undergone some changes. The program will be comprised of three rounds consisting of an application, a face-to-face interview, and a week-long accelerated competition.

Students will be asked to complete an application that will be submitted to a panel of judges for review. A number of the applicants will be asked to join the panel of judges for a face-to-face interview. From there, five companies will be chosen to compete in a week-long accelerated competition, where they will develop, progress and present their venture to the panel of judges who will then select a winner.

January 30: Launch DePaul Meet and Greet--Register Now!

February 7: Launch DePaul application must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. CST. 

February 8-15: Round 1: Judging will take place

February 17: Launch DePaul semi-finalists will be announced

February 19 - March 1: Round 2: Face-to-Face Interviews will take place

March 2: Launch DePaul Finalists will be notified        

March 19-23: Round 3: Launch DePaul Competition will take place
